Kirk Pilon, B.Ed., M.Ed., CPI, is a certified Practical and Applied Arts teacher and a Certified Property Inspector. With over 15 years of residential construction experience and 8 years in assessment and evaluation.
Just as he evaluates students based on set standards, he assesses homes with the same attention to detail—identifying issues and providing clear, accurate information to help you make informed decisions.

As proud InterNACHI®-Certified Home Inspectors, we are part of the world’s leading association for residential and commercial property inspectors. The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) sets the highest standards in the industry, providing rigorous training, ongoing education, and strict ethical guidelines.
To ensure integrity and trust, we strictly follow InterNACHI’s code of conduct, which prohibits inspectors from performing repairs on a property they’ve inspected for 12 months—except for components outside the standard inspection scope. This policy prevents conflicts of interest and upholds the highest professional standards.
No repair work within 12 months of an inspection:
This rule prevents inspectors from using their inspection findings to solicit repair work on the same property for a year.
Exceptions for non-standard components:
If a system or component not covered in the standard InterNACHI inspection needs repair, the inspector may perform that work.
Maintaining impartiality:
This rule ensures inspectors remain neutral and avoid any conflict of interest in their findings.
